ALMA Grand Place Hotel

The clerks at the Reception Desk were friendly and helpful. They gave us directions to some of the main areas of interest. The guest room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The location was an easy walking distance to restaurants and several of the sights that we wanted to experience.

This was our second stay, the first being about 5 years ago. The location on a narrow cobbled street just off the Grand Place and a few minutes' walk from Central Station couldn't be better. There's any number of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops in the immediate area, including the lovely Galeries Hubert and the unique and venerable old Toon pub and marionette theatre. The hotel is also within an easy stroll of so many of Brussels' sights and attractions. The reception staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming, and the daily housekeeping routinely provided is becoming a rarity in many European hotels. We stayed in Room 106 on the first floor facing the street. Soundproofing was good both inside and outside the hotel and we slept well in our very comfortable bed. Our room was a good size, was well decorated and everything worked well. We appreciated the kettle and tea/coffee supplies, the safe and iron/ironing board. Our room had a separate toilet and shower room which was handy and both were spotless. Checking in and out was fast thanks to the exceptional staff. The hotel is ideal for a short stay in the heart of all the best that Brussels has to offer. We'll be back!

We booked a duplex for a family of 4 and it was pretty spacious. It was what we expected based on the price and reviews. Staff was really friendly and helpful. The location is a perfect for exploring and right in the heart of the historic district. Would highly recommend as a base and we were barely in the room for the 2 days that we were there.

Extremely helpful and kind staff. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the rooms were very clean. We had all we needed. The Rituals toiletries were a treat.

Outstanding location. Only minutes from Grand Place in one direction and Central train station in the other. Fantastic shopping (chocolate), views (Grand Place), waffles, restaurants, pubs only minutes away. Absolutely at the heart of Brussells.
